Dr. Trichler was born and raised in West Michigan. He now resides in Jenison with his wife of 30 years and two children. He is very involved in the community and has volunteered for many projects. He has donated many hours to the Georgetown Little League. He served as umpire-in-chief and President for several years. Now that his children are too old for Little League, he volunteers his time umpiring and helping with park projects. Timothy is an avid golfer and enjoys practicing at the range at Grand Valley State University. He is a runner and gets in around 20 miles per week. Most of his free time is devoted to his family.
Trichler earned his Bachelors degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. He also earned a Masters Degree in Business from WMU. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Law in Lansing Michigan. He was a college professor for several years before committing all his efforts to practicing law in 1988. In 1997, he purchased the office building located at 511 Baldwin St., in Jenison.
Trichler believes in mediation and alternative dispute resolution. He has completed the additional training and experience to be a SCAO approved court mediator for both domestic and civil cases. He also serves as an arbitrator for divorce and civil cases in West Michigan.
Trichler's law firm primarily handles cases in Divorce, Child Custody, Criminal Law, Probate and select injury cases.
